I would like to get my son admitted to St.Xavier's School, Park Street in class-1 in the academic year 2014-15. Please do let me know on when the forms are given and the admission criteria so that accordingly we can prepare our son. Can someone please answer?

St. Xaviers' School, Park street, simply takes an interview for admission of candidates in class 1 to see if the child knows the fundamental things and is not afraid of interacting with new people like children at such age usually are.

You can however, teach your child come basic manners and give him some basic education as child in class 1 are usually given, as there might be a small test as well(depends upon the criterion).

The interview format is for both children and their parents.

St. Xaviers' School, Park Street, simply follows interview process for the admission of the ward in class 1 and they just want to see that the child is interacting with the surrounding such as the kids of their age and have some idea of the fundamental things.
So, train your ward accordingly, teach him some manners how to face teachers and some basic educational knowledge. Remember the format of the interview is both for the child and parents, so you should also be prepared accordingly.
