What should I do to make career in Software Development being a 12th PCB student?

Sir, I have chosen PCB with English in Higher Secondary. Now I am in 12th standard. I've also chosen Computer Application as my 5th subject in school. I want to pursue my career in Software Development. Please advise me what should I do after 12th?

Maths is very important, if you want to become a software engineer of top class. Most of the reputed colleges and universities ask for maths at class 12th level for B.Tech CSE or BCA degree.

There may be some universities like IGNOU, which may allow you to study BCA, being a non maths student, but they don't have much value in private sector.

You should study BE/BTech in Computer Science or Software Engineering or Information Technology or relevant subject to become a Software Developer in the future. You should score very good marks in the 12th Class to get admission in top reputed colleges to become a Software Developer. You should learn the programming languages like C++, Python, PHP, Java, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Unix Shell Scripting, etc. to become a Software Developer. You must be able to work in a team environment. The above given are some of the important points to become a Software Developer.
