Re: Why we can't opt another subject than PCM for entering Airlines?
You mean as a Pilot or as a Cabin Crew? Because, for Cabin Crew PCM is not required.
While it is not necessary to have studied PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) in 10+2 to become a Cabin Crew, having a background in these subjects can be helpful in understanding the technical aspects of flying. Other subjects that may be helpful for a career in aviation include geography, aerodynamics, and computer science. However, for becoming a Pilot, most airlines and aviation authorities require candidates to have a minimum educational qualification of 10+2 or its equivalent. Additionally, candidates must undergo a pilot training program and obtain a Commercial Pilot License (CPL) or Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL). |
