How to join Indian Airforce after passing 10 2 with Arts stream.

HSC passed candidates have the option to join NDA. Being a 12th passed candidate in arts, you can join to army only. Those who have studied Physics and Mathematics as subjects can join to air force. They can join to any of the three wings of defense. Also, you must be an unmarried male below 19 years of age.

I passed 12th Arts. I am interested in merchant navy course. I can't afford the fee. How can I get entry? I am from Mumbai. Can you please send me Mumbai address?

Very sorry to say that you will not be eligible to join Merchant with 12th in Arts stream.

The eligibility criteria to join Merchant Navy are as under:-

-The candidate should have passed 10+2 class or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized board.

-The age limit to apply is 16 years to 25 years.

-Candidates should be physically and Mentally strong, fit for sea-services under standard norms

-Only unmarried male and female candidate can apply for Merchant Navy.

-Selection process :

*Written Exam.

*Physical Test

* Medical Test

*Personality Interview.

Joining Indian Air Force after plus 2 with arts stream is next to impossible because you need to have physics and maths as the essential subjects to get eligible for the exam and then sit for the exam to qualify.

Don't get dishearten, if you really want to be associated with IAF then with art background you need to apply for ground jobs like desk and clerical one or else in commander or officer level its not possible.

Arts stream students may join IAF as Officer after completing Graduation Degree and/or PG course. After 12th standard, Arts stream students may go for any 3 or 4 years long Graduation program from a Recognized University. ... They are not eligible to join Flying or Technical Branch of the IAF.
