What are the steps to be followed to become Meteorologist?
sir, i am a final year btech student in electronics and communication engineering.i want a job in Meteorology field ,which is one of my interests.please tell me what is the procedure for gettin the job?if the job wants more academics,what are the courses offering meteorology in india?Is the courses suitable after btech?

Yes you are eligible for getting a job in meteorology.
Eligibility for meteorology job:- B.Sc in meteorology or atmospheric science M.Sc in meteorology and other subjects related to meteorology B.Tech (ECE, CSE, IT) To get a job in IMD(Indian Meteorological Departmenr) you need to attend the exam conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission), if you qualify in that exam they will call you for an interview. There are many courses offering meteorology but theses courses are not suitable after B. Tech |

Sir, i want to become a meterologist. After completing bsc geography what shall i do? Can i study Msc in meterology after it?
