I can not say that a single book is sufficient in order to crack a bank exam.

That bank exam may be SBI Clerk Exam or any other bank exam.

Some books are good enough only for some subjects and some other books will be famous for some other subjects.

Have a glance over the question paper pattern for SBI Clerk Exam.

There will be 200 questions in the written exam. 200 questions will be from the following 5 categories

Reasoning
Numerical Ability
General Awareness
General English
Computer and Marketing Knowledge

For Reasoning and Numerical Ability, I suggest you to prepare R.S.Agarwal Books.

This publications will cover the syllabus of not only bank exams bu also all the competitive exams.

For General English, I suggest you to go with UPKAR publications and other books where you can find good content on
-Functional Grammar
-Vocabulary
-Comprehensions

For General Awareness, you can with some of the magazines like
Mahendra publications
Banking Services Chronicle
Pratiyogita Kiran

Better to refer all the above mentioned books if you want to score more in the SBI Clerk Exam.

If you do not have enough time to prepare for the exam, then I suggest you to go with a single book to prepare for the exam.

In addition to practicing the concepts, one important thing which will be a key to get bank job is attempting mock tests.

Try to attempt mock tests as many as you can through which you can evaluate your performance and can capitalize on the areas where you need to improve more.

Have good planned preparation for the exam and crack it.

Everybody is eagerly waiting for SBI notification.

Wish you all the best.
