NTSE stands for National Talent Search Exam which is conducted by the NCERT every year. The main purpose of this scheme was to identify the talented students and nurture their talent.

-->Candidates studying in 10th standard of any recognised school are eligible to appear for NTSE stage-I examination which is conducted by the respective states/UT's where schools are located.

-->Candidates who are selected in the written test conducted by their respective states/UT's are eligible to appear for NTSE stage-II examination which is conducted by the NCERT.

Candidates who qualify in NTSE stage-II examination are eligible to get the NTSE scholarships for their higher studies. You can apply for the NTSE examination online through the NCERT official website http://www.ncert.nic.in. By filling up the application form signed by prinicipal of your school, you need to submit it to the Liasion Officer (LO) before the last date of submission of application form.
