u can get either civil or it

Yes, you can expect to get a good branch as 140 is a par score in the manipal Online entrance test.

Going by the past years' records, you should get the branch of your choice and also your rank will be under 2000.

I am sorry to inform you that in order to get admission in Manipal university, one must obtain a score in excess of 100 atleast to stand a chance of getting admission.

The cut off for the exam is from 100-105 marks and is expected to increase slightly this year with the competition.

As per your rank and marks in the Manipal OET, it is hard for you to get a seat in IT. The cut off in previous years for IT has been around 3500-4500 rank(rough estimate).

Getting civil is relatively easier as most of the top rankers opt for core courses such as Computer science,Mechanical,Electrical and communication,Automobile,electronics amongst all other courses. You can expect to get civil in the counselling session.

I suggest you to keep a back up course in mind incase you do not get IT or civil.

I got 10048 rank in MUOET.
