Dear sir/madam,

Presently I am a 12th student. I want to go abroad for studying further after 12th. So i want to know about the importance of my 12th class percentage for studying abroad?

To get admission for pursuing your higher studies in top universities in Abroad, you must have a good aggregate in your 12th standard and you must have a good score in SAT and TOEFL/IELTS examination. You can also get scholarship for pursuing your higher studies in Abroad Universities, if you have more than 70% aggregate marks in your 12th standard. Since, you are pursuing 12th standard right now, I suggest you to score good marks in your 12th standard board examinations, so, that you can get admission in top universities in Abroad for pursuing your higher studies.

There is no high importance of the marks in 12th standard if you are aspiring for study in abroad after 12th standard. However, it matters during the selection process of the institutes in abroad. Since academic profile of the students is also one of the parameter in the selection process, so the higher the percentage the stronger is the application(although the weightage to percentage in 12th standard is quite low). But low percentage can be compensated with good scores in the entrance exams like SAT, TOEFL/IELTS, etc and good performance in the interview round. Hence, aim to score high in your 12th standard.
