For going for the law course you need to appear for the NLSUI exam. Most popular institutes do consider this score. There are some other institutes which have their exams. Also some of the institutes like ILS do not conduct test. Your 12th score will be important deciding factor in this case.

Hi,

Eligibility to join Law course:

1.Should have passed Higher Secondary School/Intermediate Examination (10+2) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST/OBC and persons with Disability).
2.Should not be more than 20 years (in case of General/OBC candidates and 22 years in case of SC/ST and persons with Disability) on 1st July, 2011.
3.Candidate with compartment/supplementary in any subject in the qualifying examination will not be eligible for admission.

The areas that were tested in CLAT were:

English including Comprehension 40 Marks
General Knowledge 50 Marks
Elementary Mathematics 20 Marks
Legal Aptitude 45 Marks
Logical Reasoning 45 Marks

The Brochure along with OMR Application Form will be sold at Rs. 150/- from different post offices throughout India and at the eleven National Law Universities.

which is better - doing graduation and then L.L.B or direct integrated course of law after 12th?
