Specializations available in B.Tech course offering Job Opportunities:

There are several specializations available in B.Tech course and they are,

<> B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering
<> B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
<> B.Tech in Computer Engineering
<> B.Tech in Civil Engineering
<> B.Tech in Information Technology
<> B.Tech in Automobile Engineering
<> B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
<> B.Tech in Automobile Engineering..etc.,

Although there are several streams available, the very best stream available is "Electronics and Communication Engineering" course. After ECE, other stream is Computer Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering ..etc., You may find job opportunities in core sector, private sector, Government sector..etc., after successful completion of studies.

There are many specializations being offered in B.Tech course. Each and every specialization is having its own career scope and job opportunities for the candidates.

Only thing is that you should gain strong subject knowledge out of your B.Tech course and showcase the same in the Interview to be placed in top companies with top salaries.

Some of the popular specializations are
-B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
-B.Tech in Civil Engineering
-B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering
-B.Tech in Chemical Engineering
-B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
-B.Tech in Biotechnology
-B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering
-B.Tech in Instrumentation Engineering
-B.Tech in Mining Engineering
-B.Tech in Environmental Engineering
-B.Tech in Petroleum Engineering etc.

I would suggest yo to opt for any of first 6 specializations mentioned above as these specializations will provide you good number of job opportunities compared to other specializations.

Moreover these specializations are being offered in many colleges in India.

Admission for B.Tech course would be given on the basis of Entrance Exam.

If you pursuing your 10+2, I would suggest you to have good preparation for the Entrance Exam and ensure you get admission in top colleges like IIT's.

Every engineering branch/specialization has number of jobs after completing graduation. However, it also depends that from which institute/college you are pursuing engineering course.

If you are pursuing from any good institute like IITs/NITs/CFIs/other government institutes, then you will have better placement opportunities than B-grade private institutes.

There are few evergreen engineering specializations in which you will always get jobs. These are:
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Civil Engineering
  • Computer Science and Engineering
  • Electronics and Communication Engineering
