Candidate must have completed their Master's degree in relevant stream from a recognised university.
Candidate must have scored at least 55% aggregate in Master's degree.
Candidate must have to qualify the required entrance examination to pursue this course.

Ph.D. Geography or Doctor of Philosophy in Geography is a Doctorate Geography course. The required eligibility to study Ph.D. (Geography) at Gangadhar Meher University is the candidate should have passed a Master degree in the respective stream from a recognized university. The minimum percentage required in the master's degree course to get admission to Doctor of Philosophy in Geography is 60%. The admission of the candidate will be done on the basis of entrance examination and Interview. The duration of Doctor of Philosophy in Geography is three years.
