After 12th there are so many higher study scope .You are from Bio-Science departments so you have so many chances for graduation.

List of good courses with bright job opportunities are as follows:

MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery): You can give PMT exams & respective state level exam to get into good colleges for pursuing this course.

BDS (Bachelors of Dental Science)

BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy)

BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine & Surgery)

BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine & Surgery)

B. Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy)

B. Tech. ( Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology): For this one needs to clear AIEEE exams with biology subject.

BE in Environmental Engineering

BSc course ( Bachelor of Science): One can clear entrance & get into IITs, JNU for the same.

BSc courses are offered in varied fields like Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Bio sciences, Botany, Zoology, Forensic Science, Agriculture, Bioinformatics, Genetic Engineering, Environmental Science.

There are Numerous carrier options in Biology except Medicine.Although, which subject will be your future prospect, it will completely depends on your interest. You could perform better in the field, where your interest is the most..Here are the course alongwith completion duration, which you can persue as Bachelor degree with Biology background-
¤BPT (Bachelor of Physio Therapy)-4.5 yr.
¤BMLT (Bachelor Of Medical Lab Technology)-3 yr.
¤DMLT (Diploma in Medical Lab Technology)-2 yr.
¤B.Sc. Biotechnology- 3 yr.
¤B.Sc. Microbiology-3 yr.
¤B.Sc. Biochemistry-3 yr.
¤B.Sc. Biology- 3yr.
Most of the professional & Government colleges offers these courses. You can get direct admission in Bachelor course in Private & on the basis of High school percentage in Government Colleges.
You have other option as B.Sc. In Agriculture, for which if you want to persue the degree from Recognised Institute in India you can appear in AIPAT (All India Pre Agriculture Test) conducted in the month of April, every year.

Taking a path other than that most trodden ones is always exciting. And you have many paths ahead of you in biology! Biology deals with life and is really intriguing.

Biology can provide you different options, each diff from the other. So biology is just a crude form. Firstly you need to filter it by thinking what are your likes in the field.

Basically, biology is of two types as pure science : Zoology and Botany, as you know deals with animals and plants respectively. One can take graduation in any of these and specialise later on in post graduation or specialise from the start if you are sure thats what you want.

Specialisation:
1. biotechnology, most heard of has tremendous scope abroad where you can excel.
2. bioinformatics, newly emerging area and gaining its importance recently.
3. microbiology, if you enjoy the lab works and can tolerate looking into microscope go for it!
4. Forensic science, exciting field working with police department and law enforcement agencies.
5. anatomy
6. Agricultural science
7. Forestry, by doing this you can try IFS (Indian Forest Service)
8. wildlife biology/ wildlife science, passionate field to be in!
9. fisheries
10. aquaculture and industrial fisheries.
11. animal behaviour.
12. genetics
13. neuroscience
14. biostatistics.
15. taxonomy, highly in demand in India now.
16, environmental science

One can go on and on of the opportunities in this field.

If you are not so sure better take graduation in zoology/botany (mostly zoology provides above options) and decide postgraduation specialising after knowing the subjects in close.

another benefit is the CSIR NET-JRF exam.
NET or lectureship exam is for taking up post as an associate professor in colleges and JRF is Junior Research Fellowship if you enjoy studying and researching.
