How to become an Astronaut after completion of 12th class?

The eligibility criteria for an Astronaut are as follows :

• bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in engineering, biological science, physical science, or mathematics.
  
• Candidate who want to join ISRO needs to be an Indian.
  
• The candidate must have atleast 21 years of age.
  
  

I will suggest you to appear in ISAT exam which is conducted by ISRO . For getting more details about ISAT, please visit- http://www.iist.ac.in/isat2012/



Or another way is to complete Aeronautical Engineering or Aviation Engineering from IITs or NITs . so you will have to clear IIT-JEE or AIEEE
for getting entry .

You want to become astronaut in future, then you have to appear in ISAT exam..
ISAT exam is conducted by IIST(Indian Institute of space science and technology).

Eligibility for ISAT exam:-

1.Candidate must have complete the 12th in science field with physics , chemistry and maths.

2.candidate must have secure 70% aggregate in PCM..
For SC/ST the relaxation in percentage aggregate is 10%..

3.Age should not be more than 25 years.
For SC/ST the upper age relaxation is 5 years.

These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill.

Through this exam you can get admission in B.tech course in Aerospace engineering , Avionics, Physical sciences..
So, go for it.

if you are a science student , then you have a great path to become astronaut.
apply for ISAT exam
or do astronautical engineering from some good college by giving entrance exam of AIEEE and IIT.
you have to score a high rank for getting admission in this stream

i have done my B.sc in atomic research from a reputed instiute ........ how can i apply for ISRO now??????????

You have to prefer B.Tech aerospace in reputed institutions like IIT and IIST

I have completed my 12th, i wanna become an astronaut by ISRO. I got 90% inpcm in 2 .i didn't write ISAT2012,but if i write it next year can i be able to continue my 2nd year engg or not?

There is an institute named IOHSS. In kerala it is the best institute to become an astronomr .if you write an exam named AAW from there u could get direct admission TO ISRO
