The various entry level positions is SBI are
-Clerks
-Probationary Officers.

Every year SBI will announce the notifications for the recruitment of these positions.

This year also, SBI has released notification for the recruitment of 9500 Clerical positions.

The selection procedure for both these positions is by
-Written Exam
-Interview

The written exam will consists of questions from the following categories
-Reasoning
-Numerical Ability
-General Awareness
-General English
-Computer knowledge or Marketing knowledge

Here are some of the best books to prepare for these exams.

-For Reasoning and Numerical ability, you can use R.S.Agarwal publications and Arun Sharma

-For General Awareness, I suggest you to use Current affairs by YES publications.
-You can also use Magazines of Mahindra Publications, Banking Services Chronicle.

-For General English, you can prepare R.S.Agarwal publications. Ohter wise, you can use any book which is available in the market and which is having good number of exercises on
-Comprehension
-Vocabulary
-Grammar aspects.

In addition to the books, have good practice of various model question papers and previous year question papers for these exams.

SBI exam will be conducted for the recruitment for clerks and probationary officers. It has two phase written test and interview . Written test includes following sections like Aptitude , Logical reasoning , basic english , GK and Computer knowledge / marketing knowledge . For aptitude and logical reasoning you should go with the book by R S Aggarwal of S Chand publication . For english you can go for CBSE english books of std 8-12 and R S Aggarwal book . for GK you will read the news paper and magazine like TIME , CSR , INDIA TODAY for current affairs and for computer knowledge go for CBSE computer books of std 8-12 .

SBI conduct the bank exam for po and clerk every year.

Eligibility:-

For SBI po candidate should be graduate with good percentage from recognise university.

Age of candidate should be between 21 to 30 year for open category (relaxation for obc/sc/st).
