For taking admission in Various Extension centers for Under Graduate courses in Birla Institute of Technology you will have to apply for BITCAT(Birla Institute of Technology Common Admission Test).To apply for this entrance test you will required to meet these Eligibility conditions :

Educational qualification :

• Candidates should be pass out in 10+2/Intermediate course from recognized board/university.
• Candidates who are interested for taking admission in BBA/BCA course should have any Stream in 10+2.
• Candidates who are interested for taking admission in B.SC(IT) should have mathematics in 10+2.

Marks required :

• Candidates from General/OBC category should have a minimum of 60% in class 10th & 12th.
• Candidates from SC/ST category should have a minimum of 50% in class 10th & 12th.

Age Limitations :

• Candidates who belong from the General/OBC category should have age more then 22 years.
• Candidates who belong from the SC/ST category should have age not more then 25 years.

Exam Pattern for BITCAT

• Total number of sections will be Five.
• Total duration of Entrance exam will be 3 hours.
• Total number of questions will be 150.
• Each questions will be of 3 marks.
• Negative Marking will be 1 marks for each wrong answer.

Exam Syllabus for BITCAT

• General Reasoning & Puzzles.
  
• Numerical Aptitude & Data Interpretation.
• Business Aptitude/Computer Fundamentals.
• English Grammar & Comprehension.
• Psychological Test.
