Sir, I am doing B.Sc Physics and want to know what is the options to become an Astrophysicist in USA? Is it compulsory to have an Engineering degree to be an Astrophysicist? Best universities in USA for it?

Candidates those who have completed their Bachelors degree studying Physics as a subject from a recognized University can apply for the MS course in Astrophysics from USA.

Yes, definitely a B.Sc Physics can study higher studies (Master's degree course) in Astrophysics course from USA. Those candidates, who have completed/passed bachelor's degree in Physics from any recognized university are eligible to do Master's degree course in the relevant discipline in USA. No it is not compulsory to have an Engineering degree to become an Astrophysicist. In order to become an Astrophysicist, you must have to complete PhD course in Astrophysics and do research work in the field.
