Course structure and duration of MSc(Oil and Gas Engineering) in University of Aberdeen?


Please let me know about the MSc(Oil and Gas Engineering) structure which is available in University of Aberdeen. I just want to know about the structure of course and the duration also. Thank you!

Course duration will be 2 years and course structure is mentioned below:

Semester 1

Compulsory Courses
-Facilities Engineering (EG5562) - 15 Credit Points
-Flow Assurance (EG55F8) - 15 Credit Points
-Oil and Gas Chemistry (EG551Y) - 15 Credit Points
-Reservoir Engineering (EG551V) - 15 Credit Points


Semester 2

Compulsory Courses
-Individual Project (EG5908) - 60 Credit Points

Semester 3

Compulsory Courses
-Well and Production Engineering (EG50T6) - 15 Credit Points
-Fundamental Safety Engineering and Risk Management Concepts (EG50S1) - 15 Credit Points
-Fundamentals of Petroleum Geoscience (GL5033) - 15 Credit Points
-Project Management (EG5067) - 15 Credit Points
