Default Re: How an Institute is different for University?

Institute is any organization which provides education to students or training or certifications to its candidates. It may or may not be recognized by competent authorities who regulate courses and its recognition in the concerned country or region.

On, the other hand, university is a status given to an organization by competent authorities which usually offers courses in a variety of fields. It has to be recognized by competent authorities and will get university status from them as per some act of the concerned country or region.

Usually an institute will offer courses in a field while university will offer courses in multiple fields.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
