M.Sc in Geology without Geology or Physics as major subjects in under graduation?
Hello,
I am a final year undergraduate student pursuing B.E.(Computer Science)in a reputed college.Pursuing geology in a highly reputed instituition in India is my passion. So please let me know whether it is possible to study MSc geology in a good university in India, even though i did not pursue geology or physics as my major subject in my undergraduation.Also i would like to know top universities for geological study in India.I would like to do my Phd abroad. Thank You. |

Eligibility to study the MSc Geology is as follows: Candidates must have passed BSc with Geology as one subject with at least 50% marks and should have studied any two of the subjects like Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics / Environmental Science / Botany / Zoology. Therefore, candidates who have not studied Geology in under graduation are not eligible to study the MSc Geology course. Some institutions conduct an entrance test for the admission to the MSc Geology course. |
