Why do you say that the translation is “refined speech”?
    That is nonsense!
“Speech” has the sanskrit dhatu “vak” which does not appear in the word sanskrit. The dhatu “kri” means action or movement, and “san” is an upasarga meaning “all”. I would say that the translation is closer to “all-encompassing” or “complete expression”.
