The Maharashtra Gramin Bank conducts Office Assistant Recruitment Examination so as to admit the eligible citizens of India to the Office Assistant post (Multipurpose).

Structure of MGB Office Assistant Exam

Test of Reasoning

  • Numerical Ability
  • General Knowledge
  • General English

Each section consists of 50 questions where each question carries 1 mark. It is a written test of 2:30 hour duration. Negative marks are given for wrong answers. The candidate should secure an aggregate of 40% in order to get selected for the final interview.

Eligibility Criteria

In order to apply for the Office Assistant post the candidate should be a degree holder from any one of the recognized Universities. The candidate should be proficient in Marathi language. The age of the candidate should fall between 18 and 28 years. The age relaxation for OBC and SC/ST candidates are 3 and 5 years respectively.

How to Apply?

The candidates those who are eligible can apply Online through the website of Maharashtra Gramin Bank from second week of March till the first week of April. The candidate should possess a valid email ID which has to be kept active during the entire recruitment process. Candidates can start filling up the application by clicking on the given link. Take special care while filling the branch code and transaction number. Submit the application form after filling the mandatory fields. At once, you will be provided with a registration number and a password which has to be used for further references. No changes can be made to the application forms once you have submitted it. Before submitting the application form, take a print out. This print out has to be produced at the time of the written examination. The candidate has to produce a recent photograph along with the copy of the challan on the prescribed interview date.

How to fill the Form?

Applicants those who are uploading the form more than once are not qualified to take the test. Candidates should submit the online application on or before the last date. The candidate should have a scanned copy of a recent photograph along with the specimen signature. Before filling the online application please go through the instructions given in the official website. Take two printouts of the filled up application form, as you have to submit it at the interview. Special care should be given while filling the Branch Transaction Number given in the challan form.
