Merit Swiss Asian School of Hotel Management 2011
Merit Swiss Asian School of Hotel Management (MSASHM) conducts an entrance process for admission to its Hotel Management diploma and degree programmes. MSASHM fuctions in association with Swiss Schools, Switzerland and its programmes are affiliated to UGC recognised Alagappa University. It being located in Ooty offers a very calm and serene atmosphere to its students. The Institute has been renowned and carries co-operation along with the Swiss Schools that are designed in order to cater the different candidates in India with the world class education of the hotel management.
The Institute campus is attached with an extremely prominent as well as world renowned five star hotel namely, Merit Inn Southern Star. The campus holds different departmental buildings and hostel buildings for both the boys and the girls. The college also has state of the art infrastructure features conference halls, training laboratories, and has audios as well as video based teaching system and therefore attracts lots of innovative idea to flow in.
MSASHM offers both diploma and degree courses in hotel management from Alagappa University. Candidates after 10th can do 3 year Diploma in Hotel Administration and after 12th can do Bachelor of Science in Catering Science and Hotel Administration(BSc.C&HA). Other than diploma/degree from Alagappa University candidates also get Merit Swiss Asian Diploma in Hotel Administration and Advanced International Diploma.
Eligibility Criteria:
For Diploma in Hotel Administration:
A candidate should have passed class 10th exam from a recognised school/board or be appearing in class 10th exam in 2011.
For Degree Courses:
A candidate should have passed class 12th from a recognised school/board or be appearing in class 12th exam in 2011.
Application Forms:
The form can be obtained by post from the institute by sending a Demand Draft along with the request for form. The candidates can also avail the form through direct payment to the cashier of the Institute through cash payment or through cheque. However, candidates who are interested in earning the application form through post have to send a requisite letter in which they have mention their registration number at the top part of the letter. The candidates are also advised to provide a specimen of their signature at the back side of the Demand Draft.
The Institute holds no responsibility for the delay or loss of receiver of the application form.
Selection Criteria:
Selection is based on a candidate’s academic performance in previous years. Candidates can also be called for Group Dicussion & Personal Interview for final selection.

My son has completed +2 (science) and waiting for theresult
and he is so intrested to pursue degree with hotel managment.But he was studyeing in Malayalam medium last 12 years and fluency in english is less.So in this case he can seek an admission in your institute and you will be providing support with communicative english???? And could you provide little idias about the fees structure too?
