NMI 2011
National Museum Institute of History of Art, Conservation and Museology has been designated as a Deemed University and is governed by the Ministry of Culture under the Government of India. This elite Institute is located in the ideal area of Janpath and that invites several candidates for the admission in the short term course that spans for a period of five months duration and is divided effectively into a length of 20 lectures.
Being one of the oldest Institutes, it has earned a unique reputation within the Education Sector. The Institute has been designated to carry the lantern in providing cutting end education to the candidates as well as offering high grade research oriented programs opportunities to them. The Institute also houses a team of highly experienced as well as reputed and classified teachers and offers “A” grade infrastructural facilities and thus has been ideally designated as the research hub by most of the candidates. Not only that, the Institute also houses an armada of books that are stacked in a highly maintained Centralized Library. Since the Institute has managed to pull off an excellent balance between exposure and education, it has been termed to attract a lot of attention from candidates that come from all over the country.
The institute is located in the heart of Delhi having majestic buildings. It has a green lush environment in the campus which is free from pollution and noises; and hence it creates a peaceful surrounding for the study of the students. Courses offered by the National Museum Institute:
• India: art and Culture (75 seats)
• Art Appreciation (75 seats)
• Bhartiya Kalandhi (Hindi medium) (75 seats)
Eligibility Criteria:
• Candidates must not be less than 19 years of age.
• No formal qualification other than age is required for admission into these courses.
NOTE:
• Forms and other details may be downloaded from the Institute’s website: www.nmi.gov.in
• Filled in application forms affixing passport size photo and enclosing statement of purpose of upto 250 words.
• The admission will be made on the basis of statement of purpose to be sent by the candidates with the application forms
• The fee for each course is Rs 2000/-
• Successful candidates will be informed by post and the list of such candidates will also be displayed on the institute’s website on July 2011.
