Purvanchal Gramin invites applications from eligible candidates for the position of Office Assistants (Multipurpose) and the details of the notification issued by the bank for this position are given below:

Name of the position: Office Assistants (Multipurpose)

Number of Vacancies: 50, which is divided as follows:

SC: 11

ST: 01

OBC: 13

General: 25

Period of Probation: One year this is extendable by six months

Pay Scale: Candidates appointed for the position of Office Assistants (Multipurpose), will get a pay scale of Rs. 7200-400/3-8400-500/3-9900-600/4-12300-700/7-17200-1300/1-18500-800/1-19300 and other allowances as per the rules of the bank. Total Starting emoluments inclusive of HRA, graduation increments and DA at current rates would be Rs. 12500 per month approximately.

Eligibility:

Nationality/Citizenship: To apply for the position of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) in Purvanchal Gramin Bank, candidates must be citizens of India and they should be domiciled in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

Age requirement: For the position of Office Assistant (Multipurpose), candidates must be between the age group of 18 and 28 years of age to apply. In other words, they must have born between 31st March 1983 and 01st April 1993 (including both dates). Educational Qualification: To apply for the position of Office Assistant (Multipurpose), candidates must have completed their graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.

Other qualification requirements: Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge in computers. In addition, candidates must be proficient in the local language with computer and English skill.

Selection Procedure:

Candidates will be selected based on their performance in written test and interview. Candidates who have submitted the applications before the last date and fulfilling the eligibility requirement will be called for written test, which is planned to be held on 14th of August 2011.

They should pay the application fee of Rs. 400, which includes both postal and application fee (Rs.100 for SC/ST/PCS/EXs candidates, which indicates postage alone) through challans available at the website of the bank and the fee should be paid through any of the branches of SBI or Purvanchal Gramin Bank. Candidate copy of the challan should be produced by the candidates at the time of written test.
