Qualifying Exam

In order to become a Periodontologist, individuals have to study the BDS program along with internship from a recognized Dental School. Thereafter, candidates have to pursue the Masters’ program in Dental Surgery and take a specialization in Periodontology. These professionals should also pass a certification test to work as a licensed Periodontologist. Who is eligible to apply?

The eligibility criterion to apply for the graduation program in Dental Surgery is a pass in the intermediate exam in Science streams taking Biology as a subject. Aspirants are required to have finished the XII from a recognized Board or University. They should also attend the MBBS / BDS entrance exam to get admissions for the BDS course in medical or dental institutes.
