Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University, Allahabad
The university is located at Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh, India. The aim of the university is to give the people of India an access to education and higher studies. It especially works for the people who are backwards and disadvantageous, who live in rural and remote areas, house wives, working people and other adults who are willing to acquire or upgrade their knowledge in various fields through education and studies. It understands that the society is rapidly changing and developing; therefore, it encourages the people to acquire knowledge, and also continually provides opportunities so that they can upgrade their training skills. It supports innovations and creativity in the field of research and discovery covering all the areas of human endeavour. The university is open to all and it invites everyone irrespective of their caste, sex or religion.
The university promotes different courses: undergraduate courses, general diploma courses, vocational programs, awareness programs, professional courses, and certificate courses, post graduation courses, computer programs etc.
There is a main university campus, the centre of excellence, located at the kamla Nehru road. The university covers the entire region of Uttar Pradesh, for which, it has established five other regional centres, to deal with the needs and requirements of their respective region and to cover different courses belonging to various fields of education and training.
For admissions, the candidate must first purchase or download (from the official website of the university) the information brochure for the particular course in order to know the eligibility criteria and the process to get admission in that course.
The university has a central library which was established in year 2000. It has a huge and rich collection of books, journals, magazines etc which provides ample educational material for improving knowledge and skills of its students. There are five libraries each at the five regional centres of the university serving as the reservoir of knowledge.

i am doing MSc with biochemistry from RTopen university &i have got my study material please do tell me when would i submit my written papers? Is there exist any time limit as i am living so far from college so it is difficult to do up & down from there?
