Candidates who have studied agriculture and allied disciplines in under graduate level will be given preference. They are required to secure a minimum of 50 % marks in aggregate in qualifying examination. Candidates belonging to reserved category require at least 45 % marks in graduation. Apart from this, candidates should have proficiency in written and oral communication in English. Candidates who are studying in the final year of graduation can also apply for the course. They should have a valid CAT / MAT / ATMA / PAT score card. Candidates who are from foreign nations should be well versed in English language. They are required to have TOEFL as well as GMAT score cards.
Admission Process in Indian Institute of Plantation Management
Admission to Post Graduate Diploma in Management is carried out on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in the national level entrance exams such as CAT / MAT / ATMA / PAT. Final selection will be based on the composite scores obtained by the candidates in graduation, entrance test, writing skill, group discussion and personal interview. Candidates belonging to reserved categories can avail age relaxation as per the norms of Government of India at the time of admission.

Candidates who seek admission to Post Graduate Diploma in Management are required to send application in prescribed format along with supporting documents. Application form cum prospectus can be obtained from the institute. Apart from this, candidates can download the application form from the official website of the institute. Candidates have to pay the application fees by taking a Demand Draft of Rs 900/- in favor of “Indian Institute of Plantation Management”, payable at Bangalore. Application fees for candidates belonging to reserved categories is Rs.450/-. Fully filled application form along with Demand Draft should be sent to “Admissions Office, Indian Institute of Plantation Management, Jnana Bharathi Campus, P.O.Malathalli Bangalore” within the stipulated date and time.
