AJK College of Arts and Science is approved by Government of Tamil Nadu and affiliated to Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. The college was formed with the objective of providing quality education to all sections of the community, preparing young aspirants for better future by creating an intellectually challenging atmosphere; inculcate self-reliance among young people and to customize education to meet the demands of the corporate sector.

Placement Cell:

A placement cell is functioning under AJK College of Arts and Science and this cell has taken the initiative of placing the students of the college in reputed companies for a higher pay rate. This cell also conducts aptitude & mock interview, career guidance and excel maths, English and technical programmes for preparing the students in finding job in top-rated companies like Taj group of hotels, Petrot systems, Asec India, Residency Hotel, Le Royal Meridian Hotel, etc…who are visiting the college for conducting campus recruitments. Recently, in the month of January 2010 offer letters to more than 140 graduates of the college were handed over by the deputy Chief Minister of the state.

Admission:

For getting admission into the college, the students should have secured a good merit standard in the higher secondary board examination. The college is following semester pattern of education.
