A written examination is being conducted by the Army Welfare Education Society for recruiting candidates to B .ED courses in our country that is offered by the institutes run by the Army Education Society. Army Welfare Education Society has been conducting various graduate level courses and diploma courses in their various army institutes. The colleges under this society are under different well acclaimed universities. The colleges also provide all facilities needed for the candidate.

Structure and Syllabus for AWES WAT B.Ed

The exam will be a written exam. Most of the questions will be from the subjects you have studied during your degree. A minimum cut off marks will be there. Candidates scoring marks above the cut off will only be eligible for the rest of the admission procedures. Candidates failing to obtain the required marks will be rejected.

Pre defined syllabus is not there for the exam. Questions will be based on the subjects that the candidates have studied during graduation. All the chapters from those subjects will be there for the exam.

Eligibility Criteria for AWES WAT B.Ed

Candidates applying for the course in ARMY INSTITUTE OF EDUCATION (AIE) should have passed the degree course with minimum 50% marks and the candidate should be below 35 years of age. Candidates who have studied commerce for graduation are not eligible to apply for the B.Ed course.

Candidates applying for the course in ARMY CENTRE OF EDUCATION (ACE) should have passed the degree course with minimum 45% marks. There is no age limit for applying to this Army Welfare Education Society Combined Written Admission Test for B. Ed (AWES WAT B.Ed)

Candidates opting for studying the B.Ed course in ARMY INSTITUTE OF HIGHER EDUCATION (AIHE) should have passed the degree course with minimum 50% marks. No upper age limit is there for the candidates applying for the Army Welfare Education Society Combined Written Admission Test for B. Ed (AWES WAT B.Ed).

How to Apply for AWES WAT B.Ed?

The candidates can apply by hand and also through online method. Candidates applying online should send a demand draft of Rs.450 in favor of the concerned college in which they are applying for the course.

Candidates submitting the application by hand should buy the form after paying Rs 400 at the head quarters of Army Welfare Education Society or from the army commands situated in various states.

Candidates can also send the filled application form by registered post to the colleges they are applying for.

How to fill the Form for AWES WAT B.Ed?

The form consists of two parts .The first part will be brochure giving you all the information about filling the form. The second part is the application form. All the details given should be correct. The candidates need to produce valid proof about the details they have entered in the form. Failing to do so can lead to the rejection of the form.

• From first week of February, 2012 application forms are available
• The exams will be in the April, 2012 second week
• Last week of March, 2012 will be the deadline for receiving completed application form
