Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU) was set up by the Government of Chattisgarh. The HNLU is a residential University that is very popular in the state of Chattisgarh. The HNLU is ranked sixth in National Law Schools in India. The HNLU is maintained by the University Grants Commission under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956.
The HNLU aims to promote excellent education in the field of law, and to promote research for national development. The HNLU also aims to develop the sense of responsibility among the students and research scholars to make them serve the society in the field of law.

Eligibility:
Age Criteria – The minimum age limit is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 35 years (Relaxable as per rules).
Educational qualification – The candidates must have master’s degree in relevant field and must have cleared National Eligibility Test (NET), CSIR, SLET/ SET or similar test accredited by the UGC. The Ph.D degree holders do not require NET/ SLET/ SET qualification.
