Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Aquaculture (RGCA) is the Research & Development (R&D) section of the Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA). The MPEDA is involved in the development of new Aquaculure technologies through RGCA. RGCA is dynamically involved in the development of many bio-secure, low carbon output, perceptible and eco-friendly Sustainable Aquaculture Technologies for production and farming of various species of aquatic.

Job Profile:

Rajiv Gandhi Centre for aquaculture (RGCA) invites application from eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Technical Manager on deputation/ contract basis.

No. of posts: Assistant Technical Manager - 9, Assistant Technical Manager (Various Projects) - 28, Assistant Technical Manager (Open Sea Operation) -3

Pay Scale – Consolidated pay of Rs. 12,000 per month. Consolidated pay of Rs. 18000 will be paid on satisfactory performance during the initial 6 months period.

Eligibility:

Age Criteria – The maximum age limit is 32 years. The upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates.

Educational Qualification and experience – The candidates must have specific educational qualification and post qualification experience as given in the MPEDA website link http://mpedaweb.nic.in/job/ADVTrgca.pdf.

Selection Process:

The selection for the post is through walk-in interview. A short test will be conducted to test the computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and internet usage, during the interview.
