Andhra University is one of the oldest premier universities in India. The University conducts common entrance test every year for the admission of candidates to its full time M. Phil & PhD programmes in various subjects.

Structure of AURCET Applied Mathematics Entrance Test

The entrance test will consist of 2 papers with objective type questions. Paper I will consists of 50 multiple choice questions carrying 50 marks which have to be answered within 45 minutes duration. This section will be common for all subject candidates. Paper II shall be of 90 minutes duration with 100 multiple choice questions for 100 marks. Paper-II will be different for each department.

Eligibility Criteria

Post graduate degree holders with not less than 55% of marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) or equivalent CGPA in Applied Mathematics or allied subjects are eligible to appear for AURCET for getting admission to the full-time M. Phil / PhD degree in Andhra University.

How to Apply?

Candidates can download the application form along with information brochure from the official website www.andhrauniversity.info/doa. The completed application form along with DD of Rs. 500/- drawn in favour of Director, Directorate of Admissions, Andhra University from any nationalized bank payable at Visakhapatnam has to be sent to Director, Directorate of Admissions, Andhra University, Vijayanagar Palace, Pedawaltair, Visakhapatnam-530017 by registered post or in person on or before the due date.

How to fill the Form?

The candidates should be very careful while filling in the application form. All the columns have to be filled furnishing the correct details. The name and date of birth filled in the application form has to match with that in the higher secondary exam certificate. All the necessary instructions regarding filling the form are given in the application brochure. The applicants are advised to read it before filling.
