This test is conducted by Centre for Distance Education Anna University for its 2 year MBA programme. This will be conducted two times in a year for Calendar year batch (CY) and Academic year batch (AY).Different MBA programmes offered through this test are given below.

• MBA – Technology Management
• MBA – Financial Services Management
• MBA – Retail Management
• MBA – Health Services Management
• MBA – Human Resource Management

2 hours will be allotted to the candidates to complete the test.

Structure and Syllabus of Centre for Distance Education Anna University MBA Entrance Exam

The test conducted will be objective in nature with hundred questions. Candidates will be given four choices to answer each question. From that they have to select their answer by circling their choice in the answer sheet using pencil or ball point pen with black or blue ink. The following subjects will be there for the test.

• Data analysis
• Comprehension skill
• Basic Quantitative ability
• Written English test

Correct answer will be awarded one mark and there is no negative marking for wrong answers.2 hours will be allotted to the candidates to complete the test.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should have Bachelor’s Degree in any stream under 10+2+3 pattern.

Candidates will be eligible to apply if they have AMIE or equivalent qualification recognized by MHRD. Such candidates also need to have two years experience after having AMIE or equivalent qualification. Candidates who obtained score in TANCET conducted by Anna University need not write this test. They can seek admission based on TANCET score itself.

How to Apply?

Candidates can obtain application forms directly from the director, centre for distance education, Anna University, Chennai – 600 025.For that a demand draft of Rs.650/- payable at chennai should be taken in the name of the director, centre for distance education, Anna University, Chennai – 600 025.Candidate can also collect it from the study centers by paying the application fee of Rs.650/- in cash. Candidates can also apply for the test by downloading forms from the website. While sending these application forms to the authority, candidates should send a demand draft of Rs.650/- along with it. Send the application forms with the photocopies of the specified certificates to the address:

Photocopies of certificates should be attested by a gazetted officer.

How to fill the Form?

First of all candidates should read the “Information and instructions to the candidates” carefully. It will help the candidate to fill the form without errors. Candidate should enter the information in block letters. Candidate should encircle the code number wherever it is applicable. The name entered should be same as in the SSLC or equivalent certificate. Recent passport size photograph should be attached on the space specified on the form. Photograph should be taken with white or blue background. Details of demand draft should be filled correctly. Applicant should personally put their signature on the form. Only completed application should be sent to the authority. If the authority finds anything left without specifying the information, then they will reject the form.
