University of Hyderabad was established in the year 1974 as a research institute under Government of India. Dr. R. Chidambaram is the current Chancellor of the university while Professor Ram Ramaswamy is the Vice Chancellor of the university. The university has an urban campus. The university actually came into existence as a central university under an act of the Parliament. The university provides various post graduate courses to its students. Job Profile:

Applications are invited from the eligible and qualified candidatesin the prescribed form for the following non-teaching positions of Deputy Registrar and Assistant Registrar in University of Hyderabad. Interested candidates must meet with all the eligibility conditions set for the specified positions in University of Hyderabad.

Eligibility:

Candidates are required to have age more than the prescribed minimum age limit set for the post of Deputy Registrar and Assistant Registrar in University of Hyderabad. Candidates should also have age less than the prescribed maximum age limit set for the post. Candidates belonging to reserved categories, may get relaxation of few years in the upper age limit set for the post.

Educational Qualification:

Deputy Registrar: Master’s degree with atleast 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized institute or university is required for the post. Candidates should also possess atleast nine years of experience as Asssistant Professor.

Assistant Registrar: Candidates should possess Master’s degree with atleast 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized institute or university. Candidates are required to have a good academic record throughout.

Pay Scale:

Deputy Registrar: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 7600.
Assistant Registrar: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

Application Fee:

An application fee of Rs. 750 is need to be submitted by the candidates belonging to General and OBC categories candidates. However, candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD categories should submit an application fee of Rs. 100 only. The application fee is need to be submitted through the mena sof a Demand Draft drawn in favour of The Finance Officer, University of Hyderabad payable at Hyderabad only.

How to apply: Application in the prescribed format is need to be sent in accordance with the other required certificates and demand draft of prescribed amount of application fee.
