Diploma in Production Engineering
Production is the most essential part of a business to survive. Each business produces one or the other material so that there are products to meet the various diverse needs of the consumers in the market. Hence each production unit requires an expert production engineer who can assist the job of production in the industries and help in efficient manufacturing, packaging and presentation in the market. Hence a diploma course is provided in production engineering to train a work force who could maintain a high standard production.
Eligibility Criteria
The basic eligibility requirement for the diploma in production engineering is that the candidate must pass class 12 with physics, chemistry and Maths. A class 10 pass candidate is also eligible to appear for the course as the minimum age requirement is 15 years. An entrance exam is held for admission in the diploma course in production engineering.
Course outlook
A six semester diploma course on production engineering trains the students with complete knowledge of production and its maintenance in the industrial level. After the 3 year course that evaluates the student on the basis of the practical and theoretical knowledge there is a training period of 6 months training in any related industry. There are future scopes on higher studies and advanced courses in this field.
Job prospect
A production engineer is offered a well paid job in the industries producing consumer products as well as other essential items. The remuneration is good and a production engineer has higher posts in the industries
