Life Insurance Corporation of India is a government owned corporation and also the largest investor of the country. The corporation was established on September 1, 1956 with its headquarter located at Mumbai, India. There are approximatley 2048 branches of the corporation located in the different cities of the country. The corporation has a network of around 1.2 million agents. LIC Housing Finance Limited, LIC (Nepal) Ltd., LIC (Lanka) Ltd. and LIC BSC are the subsidiaries of the corporation.

Job Profile:

Life Insurance Corporation of India requires well qualified candidates on the posts of Direct Sales Excutive in various divisons of LIC south central zonal, Hyderabad. Belgaum, Bellary, Davangere and Mysore are the divisions in which candidates will get placed. Candidates will be selected on a contract basis of 3 years.

Eligibility:

21 is the minimum age that should be acquired by the candidates as on 1 November 2010. Candidates should not be more than 35 years of age. Candidates will get releaxation as per government rules.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should have done Bacehlor’s degree from any recognzied university of India in order to apply for the respective post in Life Insurance Corporation of India.

No. of posts: 223 posts in total are available in various divisions of the firm. (Belgaum-61, Bellary-56, Davangere-65 and Mysore-41)

Pay Scale: A prescribed amount of salary will be paid to the selected candidates in all the three years of their service.

Application Fee:

A crossed Demand Draft of Rs. 100 should be made by all the candidates except SC/ST candidates (as they are extempted from paying any kind of application fee). The DD must be dran in favour of Life Insurance Corporation of India payable at Divisonal Headquarter. Candidate’s name and his date of birth is required to be written on the back side of Demand Draft.

How to apply: All required certificates alongwith the complete application form are required to be enclosed in an envelope. The enevelope must be superscribed as “Engagement of Direct Sales Executives, ______________ Division”.
