Gujarat Livelihood Promotion Company Limited was formed in Gandhinagar located at Gujarat by the State Government of Gujarat. The primary objective of the GLPC is to realize the aims of National Rural Livelihood Mission. It also aims to execute the functions of Mission Mangalam for enhancing the economic status and life quality of the underprivileged people of the state. Its other aim includes enhancing the human development indicators of Gujarat.
Job Profile:
Gujarat Livelihood Promotion Company (GLPC) Ltd invites application for District level vacancies from eligible candidates for the post of District Livelihoods Manager.

Pay Scale – The CTC is Rs. 6.00 lac per anum.
Eligibility:
Qualification – The candidate must have done Post Graduate degree in Master of Social Work, Master of Business Administration or Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration, Agricultural Business, Social Work or Rural Management from any of the reputed institutions like XLRI, IIFM, IRMA and TISS. The candidates must have 6-10 yrs post qualification experience. Experience of programme implementation and knowledge of thematic areas related to GLPC programs. The candidates must be proficient in Gujarati. The candidates must be able to work in/ with teams and mentor other team members/ Taluka functionaries. Retired persons from Government/Banks with related experience and aptitude can also apply.
Selection Process:
The selection of the post is through written test and interview. Only eligible candidates will be called for the selection process. I am Umesh R Rathava, Studing Anthropology of Development and Social Transformation MA Programme at University of Sussex UK. I have also did MSW and MA sociology. I have an experiance of eight years as faculty membet at Adivasi Academy,Tejgadh, Gujarat.t
