Food Corporation of India recruits fresh candidates having Graduation/ MBA in relevant subjects as Management Trainee in various posts. Selection Procedure is based on the norms of the corporation itself. Candidates are selected on the basis of composite scores obtained in written test, group discussion and personal interview. Those who have completed 18 years of age at the time of application are only eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criterion for FCI ‘Management Trainee’ 2012

Candidates who posses fellowship in any the following courses are eligible to apply for the post of Management Trainee in Accounts.

Chartered Accountant

Associate member of the Institute of Cost & Works Accountants

Apart from these, MBA graduates, specialized in Finance from a recognized University are eligible.

Those who have completed Graduation in Agriculture are eligible to apply for Technical posts. Candidates who have completed graduation in science subjects along with Diploma in Food Technology from a recognized University can also apply for this post.

Graduates in any discipline from a recognized University or those who have completed Post graduation in Management are eligible to apply for positions available in Movement Department. Candidates who have degree or diploma in Business Management/ Industrial Relations/ Mass Communication/ Public Relations/ Information Technology or Training & Development are preferable.

Candidates should have completed minimum of 18 years of age at the time of application. Physically challenged and those who belong to reserved categories can enjoy upper age relaxation as per the norms issued by the Government of India.

Selection Process for FCI ‘Management Trainee’ 2012

Recruitment to various posts is made on the basis of scores obtained in written test, group discussion and personal interview. The written test comprises of two papers. Part 1 consists of 60 questions from respective technical subject. Part 2 carries 60 questions from topics such as Data Analysis, Computer Awareness, General Awareness, Logical Reasoning and Current Affairs. There will be objective type questions in the written test. Candidates will have to clear the sectional cut off so as to clear the exam. Those who have cleared the written test will be called for Group Discussion. Candidates’ communication skill and knowledge on the given topic will be evaluated in group discussion. Candidates will be short listed for final interview as per their scores in written test as well as group discussion. Final selection will be based on the rank obtained by the candidates as well as Rules and Regulations issued by the Corporation.
