Re: Can Diploma (Electrical) students become Energy Auditors? What is the procedure for this?
Rising energy costs and inefficiency in plants and buildings is continually driving the need for trained and experienced energy auditors. For being a energy auditor you have to fulfill given eligibility criteria:-
1. A four-year degree in engineering or architecture. 2. A four-year non-engineering degree. 3. A two-year technical degree. As you are only diploma holder then you are not eligible. You have to proceed in degree course i.e. B.Tech. You can do b.tech after diploma course by using LEET entry scheme. After completion of degree course you will be eligible to apply as a Energy Auditor. |
