The minimum qualification to get into bank these days is to get a degree. Without a degree you are not eligible for a bank job. It is better you take up a degree course. B.Com covers the subjects of Finance and Banking so perhaps you can opt for that or any other degree is fine. But it is a degree that you must have. Diploma is not enough.

Earlier the minimum qualification used to be class 12 pass out. But recently rules have been modified and a degree is mandatory. |

Yes, you can get bank job after pursuing Banking & Finance diploma course but before that you will have to go for a bachelor degree course with any stream of your choice from a recognized university .

After doing your graduation you will have to crack IBPS exams or SBI exams which are taken for recruitment of bank clerk & bank probationary officers for 29 nationalized banks and SBI respectively . For both the examinations the eligibility are same as given below;- You should have the nationality of India . For bank clerk your age must be within 20 years to 28 years where as for bank probationary officer your age must be within 20 years to 30 years . The educational qualification is same as mentioned in paragraph 1 . So for bank job first go for the graduation course and then go for target . |
