Diploma in IT or computer, which on to do and why?
Scored 75% in ssc. Confused between diploma and 11th science. Also wanted to know that is diploma in IT a good choice. Also want to do degree in it in future. Will it be good choice for future or is computer engineering better than IT.

Although degrees in IT and CS can lead to occupations that are comparable, there are some significant differences between the two. A computer scientist should be interested in mathematics and program design, but an IT professional should be interested in installing computers, operating software, and maintaining networks and databases.

CS and IT degrees might lead to jobs that are similar to each other, but there are some key differences between the two. An IT professional should be interested in setting up computers, using software, running networks, and managing databases, but a computer scientist should be interested in mathematics and programming development.
