Marks of which subject is preferable in 10th for admission in Engineering Diploma course?

I am a 10th student and I want to know marks of which subject are seen for admission in Diploma in Engineering course?

You just need maths and science at 10th level with 50% marks. This is just a eligibility criteria and it will not be counted for preparing merit for admission. Hence, you should concentrate in entrance exam only because marks in it will matter before admission.

Therefore, just be prepared for the polytechnic entrance exam and don't worry about your 10th marks.

No, admissions in Engineering Diploma course are not offered by considering a single subject marks of your 10th standard. The 10th standard all subjects total aggregate marks are considered for offering admission in Diploma course. Some states conducts Diploma entrance examinations like PolyCET, JEXPO, etc. for offering admissions to Diploma course. Since, you are pursuing 10th standard, I suggest you to concentrate and score good marks in all subjects to get admission in Diploma course in top colleges.
