Is it possible to consider 3 years diploma course as 12th standard grade?
Is it possible to consider 3 years diploma course as 12th standard grade? I need to apply for a course in which they ask for 12th standard as minimum criteria so can I consider diploma course to the same level or not? How to decide on this?

Yes, you can apply for diploma admission through any polytechnic entrance exam. If you have class 12th with PCM qualification, then you will be eligible for lateral entry admission.
Hence, no need to worry about anything. Just make sure you are well prepared for polytechnic entrance exam. |

Re: Is it possible to consider 3 years diploma course as 12th standard grade?
Yes, 3 years diploma is considered as equivalent to 12th standard. There are lots of courses available for which you can apply after 12th standard or equivalent like 3 years diploma. But, not for all the courses, there are many courses where you require only 10+2 qualification and not diploma. Yes, diploma course is considered to the same level as 12th standard, but it depends upon the course eligibility.

I am sorry to say that it is not possible to consider your Diploma course equivalent to the class 12th education.
Look, each and every course have their own eligibility required. In some of the courses Diploma course is required, in some other both Diploma and class 12th are considered. But where it is mentioned only class 12th is required, there you cannot consider your Diploma course. |
