You need to appear for the LET(Lateral Entry Test) Examination.
Once you are able to crack the LET Examination you will be able to get admission to the course of B.Tech. You will get admission to the College according to the rank that you have obtained in the LET Examination. You need to make sure that you prepare for the LET Test as to get admission to a good college you need to get a good rank. So prepare to the best of your ability. |

Procedure of lateral entry after diploma course:-
- You need to appear in Lateral Entry Entrance Test (LEET) to get into second year of B.Tech course directly via lateral entry scheme. - The exam is conducted in each state and through this you can get admission in the institutes of the concerned state in which you appeared the exam. - Various private universities also conduct their own entrance test for lateral entry. - The admission is purely done on the basis of LEET rank. - SO prepare well, appear in LEET and aim to score high. Later, you need to attend counselling rounds to choose your college for B.Tech course. |

To get Lateral Entry admission in B.Tech course after completion of your three years Diploma course, you must have to appear in Lateral Entry examinations like LEET/ECET/JELET, etc. By qualifying the entrance examination, based upon your examination rank, you will be allotted a seat in a particular college and you can get admission in second year of four years B.Tech course.
