Is it true that Canara bank is providing full interest subsidy education loan?
hi...i wanna join bds now..so plz let me to know.. that I heard that canara bank providing full interest subsidy scheme for education loan is it true?

No, there is no such provision as full interest subsidy for education loan under Canara Bank. But there are subsidies on various grounds like category of the student, senior citizen quota of parents, retired serviceman, etc. There is no full subsidy of interest. However, interest will be charged in the form of simple interest unlike other loans where it is compound interest. But it will be only for the entire study period and after that the interest will be charged again as compound interest.

IOB is cheating education loan subsidy,taking documents from borrower and keeping money with them.
