As he has just appeared for 10th it is not the time to think about engineering.
Its the time to think about wich colleg to join for his 11th n 12th.
If he wantz to do diploma then a diploma in Aeronautical engineering and then a dirct entry to engineering thru diploma qouta wil help him a lot.

your brother can do Aeronautical Engineering after 12th class. after 12th then he have to appear in the joint entrance exam.

another there is a way through which your brother can do engg that is diploma.

if your brother can do diploma in mechanical engg.then after complition of diploma your brother can do Aeronautical Engineering.

The courses that make you eligible to enter in the IT sector are
BCA
BSc(IT)
B.Tech in Information technology, Electronics and communication Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering etc.

Apart from that If you are B.Tech from any other branch but you have knowledge of programming like C,C++,Java etc then you can get entry in the IT sector.
ie. Even if you mechanical engineering and have the knowledge of programing, you can apply in an IT company.

Yes after 10th you can do diploma but it will be better if you do your 10+2 then go for aeronautical engineering.After completing your diploma you are eligible for it and you will get admission as in 2nd year as a lateral entry.

Getting into diploma for aeronautical branch is not worthful at all. You just try to complete his 12th exam with mathematics. And after that apply for the aeronautical engineering in institutes which are offering the same.

so after 10th you can definately do diploma in Aeronautical Engineering.

you can get chance in diploma in two ways

1.through polytechnique exam.

2.through number basis of your 10th.

of course you can do diploma in aeronautical engineering after 10th.

you have to pass diploma exam conducted by states exam commission.

this exam is different for different states.

you can appear in those states in which this branch is present.

Doing aeronautical engineering in diploma level or b.tech level is not adviced.
Doing B.tech in mechanical engineering and then going for aeronautical engineering in masters is adviced.

you heard it right girls cannot join Indian navy even after she passed her 12

class she's not eligible for joining any Indian army or air force or navy field.

she has to complete her graduation and then she has to apply for the

following entries for joining.

1.SSC technical (men or women)
2.UES entry through your college
3.if you have 'c' certificate in NCC then you can have direct entry through NCC 'C' certificate direct entry scheme.

advantages of doing diploma are:-
1.after passing 10 if he joined diploma which is a 3 year course, he can do job after that. and can help your family
2.He can join b.tech too after his diploma by lateral entry scheme in various colleges
3.He will be more experienced with the subjects or branch

so if he's interested in doing Diploma then, let him do.

It depends upon various factors. I am discussion few ones.

The most probable one is that weather you want to persue higher studies or just want to do a job after that. If job is your aim then surely Diploma is better. But further studies say- B.Tech is your aim then 12th is better. Thats because Diploma Engineers who want to persue B.Tech find it very difficult because huge differance in there syllabus.

Second thing, is that candidate having B.Tech/B.E. degree but not 12th then he/she is not allowed to appear for GATE. GATE is a all India level competetion which opens the gate of various oppurtunities for studing M.Tech from TOP institutes like- IIT, NIT, IISC and almost all institute i the country. Apart from that various PSU's and NAvratna's and TOP Companies recruit on the basis of GATE performance and many more.

12th is aways better then Diploma Engineering, depending of various factors............!

actually your brother has two choices for pusuing aeronautical engineering.
one he could complete 10+2 and go for aeronautical engineering in any good institute like IIT by cracking JEE or there are many other private institutes offering this course.
if he's really interested in going for it right now then there are many institutes offering diploma in aeronautical engineering. prefer the ones approved by AICTE.

if your brother want to be aeronautical engineer then the best way is to join in engineering after class 12.

now admit your brother to 12 with mathematics, physics and chemistry in science. after completion of 12 appear in engineering entrance examination.

then secure good position and take admission in a good institution for engineering with aeronautical engineering. he appear in various engineering entrance examination like AIEEE, IIT JEE and other state base engineering entrance examination.

IITs are the best institution for engineering in india. so first he should try to take admission in IIT after making a good position in IIT JEE. IIT Mumbai is the best institution for aeronautical engineering.

also he may be admitted in diploma of aeronautical engineering after 10 through entrance examination or with 10th class good marks.

Hey you have got two ways to enter into aeronautical engineering i.e either go through diploma and then go for competitive exams like AIEEE/IIT else go for 11th and 12th and then go for IIT/AIEEE.

It all depends upon your brothers interest.

According to me entering into engineering after diploma is really good as you will have all the basics related to aeronautical engineering taught in the diploma course itself but the problem is that the entrance exam like AIEEE/IIT gets tough when you wish to enter through diploma stream.

If your brother goes through 11th and 12th then he can even go for the IIT/AIEEE coaching separately so that he can score well in the competitive exams.

ask him to opt for science stream and then to join some coaching institute for engineering entrance exam preparation..............

when he will be in 12th then in the month of november and december the forms for the AIEEE and IIT will be realeased..............just fill up the form and appear for the exam.......

if your brother passed these exam with good AIR rank then he can go for aeronautical engineering course in IIT bombay and many other NIT and IIT providing these courses....

Higher secondary is the basic foundation of students. Diploma students are after completing the diploma , then they will move to the b.e or other courses. So your brother to join higher seconary after he will join aeronotical engineering.

Dear friend you are right your brother can do diploma in aeronautical engineering after class 10. There are some institutes which provides the same . one of them is SCTIT’s SCHOOL OF AERONAUTICAL ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY which is located in Bangalore.
But I will suggest you not to hurry .wait for 2 years and allow your brother to pass 12th with science stream (maths compulsory). Then he would be able to sit in exams like –IIT-JEE and AIEEE .these exams are considered best for any kind of engineering. So , choose the best and leave the rest. good luck to you and your brother

my idea is for doing diploma in Aeronautical Engineering ,you better finished 12th and the go for diploma so that you can get more knowledge in Maths, Physics and Chemistry they are the most important subject for the Aeronautical field,then if you do the diploma course means it will be very much helpful to you in your further also and you can go for higher studies also, SCTIT is the institute they teach about aeronautical courses it is very helpful and then you can do the ME in Aero science in Space

lot of institutes offering diploma in Aeronautical Engineering,

--First preferance of Job market are Students who have persued B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical engineering) and with specialisation in Aeronautical Engineering at M.E./M.Tech , then second choice comes for B.Terch (Aeronautical Engineering) and in this regard preferance are given to students of prestigios institutes. Then at last Diploma Aeronautical Engineers get job, and believe be there work is nothing more then Aircraft & Maintanance Engioneers.
--So, better go for B.Tech Aeronautical Engineering or B.Tech Mechanical and then M.Tech Aeronautical Engineering after +2 rather waisting time in Diploma.
