Hi myself samreen m final year bsc student i hve 75%overall but i m failed in 1 subject in 5t sem can i apply for kas now after this year and later i will clear that subject plz reply

1. Preliminary Examination (Objective Type) for the selection of candidates to the main examination

2. Main Examination (Written Examination) for selection of candidates to the personality test.

3. Personality test for final selection of candidates to various posts/ caders.

Eligibility :

Candidates must have obtained Degree from any recognized University in India. Final Year/ Semester Degree Students can also apply for the prelims exam provided they submit Degree Certificate during the main exam.

KAS(Karnataka Administrative Service) exam is conducted by the Karnataka Public Service Commission one time in a year.


Graduation is the educational qualification, you will be complete graduation in any stream from a recognised university. Percentage is not required for this exam. The applicant should be a citizen of india. Final year graduation candidates can also be eligible.
The age limits for general candidates is 21years to 30 years, 3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates, 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.


Selection process is three types
1. Civil services preliminary exam,

2. Civil services main exam,

3. Personal interview.

KAS Exams are generally conducted by KPSC Authorities. The commission will conduct KAS Exam (Prelims) Exam in February. The KAS (Main) Exam will be conducted in the month of June.

Educational Qualification:- you should be passed the graduation in any bachelor degree from an recognized university.

Age limit:- age must be between 21 to 30 years . 5 years age relaxation for the Sc/St and 3 years age relaxation for the OBC candidates.
