There is no need of particular course for IAS,but you must have the qualification of any degree with 55%.And in my view decide which subject you are interested to take in IAS and you can continue for the same subject in degree

Re: Which graduation I should do to become IAS later?
You can do graduation in any decipline with any stream to be eligible for IES examination. You can also appear in IES exam after completing Engineering degree(B-Tech)
I can only suggest you that, you should go with the subject in which you can prepare well and having good knowledge, because in IES you need to prepare for that graduation's subject Good Luck |

Re: Which graduation I should do to become IAS later?
Dear friend,
The eligibility to appear for the IAS exam is to be a graduate. It doesn't matter on which field you are doing your graduation.. You may be a BA, B.Sc or B.Com The specialization field is entirely dependent on your interest. Just make sure that you have a thorough knowledge regarding the subject. All the best. |

Re: Which graduation I should do to become IAS later?
Dear friend,
The candidate must be Graduation passed in any deciple that does'nt matters. Each year besides professional from other qualification and background many Engineers and Doctors appears for the Entrance and crack also. Few years before among the Toppers of IAS one of the student is also a B.Tech graduate from IIT and also was a MBA degree holder from IIM. It is fact that Maximum Engieers who appear for Indian Civil Service get into IPS. Dont worry for that if you are an Engineering aspirant dont worry that you cant appear for IAS. You can definitely appear for it and also able to crack it. Best of Luck |
