you can certainly go for M Tech after MCA

for doing M Tech you will have to crack the GATE exam

according to your GATE score you will get admission to

the various IIT's and other colleges in India.

You can opt for the MS programme in Software Systems offered by the BITS, PILANI. You can get in touch with the Dean, Distance learning Programme Division as it would be difficult to go for a regular M.Tech programme.

For details about the pre-requisites for M.Tech., check the prospectus of GATE, which is the entrance exam for M.Tech. program and the eligibility criteria for the branch you want to opt for in the Institute you wish to apply for.

answer: You can surely go for M.Tech... Either by writing All India level GATE
exam or by state board exams to do M.Tech from State Board Universities..

no u cant do it and it is not advisable to. since both are postgraduate course and in different stream.it is not necessary and u can try for any programmer job in any computer stream company. u can also write bank exam. i request u to register in shine website to get update job. i wish u best of luck.

you are 100% eligible for this as MCA is a Masters degree.
MTech can be done after BTech or any Masters degree in science.

I think your knowlegde about the MCA in not well enough so it will better to you that you spent your precious time to knowlegde about mca (Master's in Computer Application).

No.. MCA is not a commerce field.. it is masters in compuer applications

For Mtech you need to give GATE exam and as you are a MCA student so you should hold on to MTECH streams related to computer .

so i suggest you go through PHD..if you
are interested in higher studies ...
and you also do MTECH prepare for GATE exam ..

You can go for M.tech course after MCA..
As you have done your MCA course from IGNOU, which is a recognized university, then you can go for M.tech course..

For that you have to appear in GATE exam..
Eligibility for GATE exam:-

*One must have complete the bachelor degree in the field of engineering/Architecture..
or,
*One must have complete the master degree in the field of MBA/MCA/M.Sc..
*There is no age limit..
*The validity of GATE score is 2 years..
*The candidate also can appear in GATE exam during the final year of graduation or Post graduation..
These are the eligibility criteria to appear in GATE exam..
As you have done your MCA course, then you can go GATE exam..

doing the mastering degree is always preffered over bachelor degree,
so i would suggest you to join M.tech after B.tech instead of going for MBA,MCA.
it will increase your pay package and knowledge also .
